In 1993, Michael Jackson let down his wall and opened the gate to Neverland Ranch for a world-exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 90-minute live, unedited broadcast was Jackson’s first interview in 14 years and was watched by over 100 million viewers around the world.

In the intimate interview, Jackson opens up to the world about his insecurities and inspirations, answers Winfrey’s questions about sex, love and plastic surgery, reveals shocking details about his childhood and attempts to dispel a few of the many “Wacko Jacko” rumors.

After the jump, watch seven clips from Winfrey’s interview with “the most elusive superstar in the history of music.”

And tonight, “American Idol” repeats this year’s Top 13 Jackson-themed show at 8 p.m. on Fox and NBC will air a one-hour version of Martin Bashir’s 2003 documentary “Living with Michael Jackson.”
