VH1 DIVAS: Join BWE.tv at 9 PM Tonight… LIVE!

Tonight, join Bestweekever.tv as we join forces with The FABlife, PopEater, The Huffington Post, Jezebel, LOGO and YOU to live blog VH1 Divas, airing live tonight at 9PM EST.
Yesterday, I had the chance to head over to the BAM Opera House — Emeril Lagasse’s personal venue — to catch glimpse of some of tonight’s Divas rehearsing for a lucky few. The venue has an intimate feel that will translate beautifully on television. No hordes of whores tonight “VMAs”! VH1 Divas is an entirely classy affair. My co-worker and Fab Life blogger Kate Spencer spent most of the day at rehearsals, and even got to snag interviews with Kelly Clarkson (”You’ll want to be her best friend”), Leona Lewis (”Sung so beautifully I almost cried”), and Adele (”You’ll want to be her best friend and she sings so beautifully you will cry.”) I got there just in time to catch Adele rehearsing with India Arie, and truth be told, it sounded INCREDIBLE.
And as I meandered around the Opera House like an old Indian woman lost in Queens, I came across something that I value with great important: THE SWAG BAG. So just what will our Divas be receiving? Well, OK, seriously, calm down and don’t be jellz because they’re famous and you’re are probably not famous (unless your Richard Dreyfuss, who loves this blog, in which case, hello), but let’s just say these Divas won’t be sleeping anytime soon…
What with their Lifetime Supply (or close to it) of Cafe Bustelo coffee! Not to mention that bag of delicious Pirate’s Booty: “It’s like eating salty cheese air…“
So what else was I doing while my co-worker was actually, you know, being professional and whatnot? Duh: I was acting a damn fool:
If I had had enough friends for a Bat Mitzvah back in the day, this most certainly would have been the theme.
In other news, my hair got did and my dress is nearly wrinkle-free again, so looks like Prom Night Part 2 is going to be a huge success.
