Utter Despair Sounds Like The Local Minnesota Vikings Announcers
As much as I was pulling for the Saints in yesterday’s NFC Title Game, I did legitimately feel bad for Vikings fans, a tortured, devoted, likable group (unlike us east coast d-bags). Plus, for all the Favre bashing that I and my blogger peers have reveled in over the past…many years, he proved a lot of us wrong with a ridiculous season (33 TDs, seven interceptions???)
Shattered purple dreams aside, the following clip of the Vikings local radio announcers reacting to Favre’s fourth quarter interception yesterday — which cost Minnesota a field goal chance to go to the Super Bowl — is absolutely hilarious. Click below to listen to the clip. Then hit refresh to keep listening to the clip over and over again, as I’ve done all afternoon:
“This ain’t Detroit, man!” has to become a regular expression — who’s with me?
