TRAILER MIX: Movies Continue Making Movies About Michael Cera, For Michael Cera
(Ed. Note: Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorite movies. That being said, here is this post.)
Life has been incredibly difficult for Michael Cera. (Cue Guinness Book of World Record winner for “Longest Record Needle Scratch WTF Sound.”) Of course, we jest. Life has been nothing but smooth for the former child actor current hipster phenom known as Michael Cera. Michael Cera is like the Michael Phelps of hopeless indie losers who get the girl: He was physically and mentally born for the part.
But let it be known: We’ve had just about enough of Michael Cera. We, in this case, I think means the world?
Shaun of the Dead and frequent Simon Pegg collaborator Edgar Wright apparently hasn’t gotten the memo, because he cast Michael Cera to play Michael Cera in his upcoming movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Michael Cera plays Michael Cera in a story about Michael Cera fighting a group of Non-Michael-Cera’s. Speficially, the ex-boyfriend’s of Michael Cera’s new Lady-Cera. Too many Michael Cera’s, you say? We Michael Cera-t you mean. (Brilliant.)
Here is the trailer. And now we ask: How many more Michael Cera playing Michael Cera movies do you, the paying audience, wish to see made? We’re a major player in the Hollywood blog circuit, so your answer really counts.
