Richard Dreyfuss to Guest on ‘Weeds’

Richard DreyfussOscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss has landed a guest arc on the upcoming season of Showtime’s ‘Weeds.’

According to a network press release, Dreyfuss will appear in at least four episodes of the comedy series, playing an “an unexpected character from Nancy Botwin’s (Mary-Louise Parker) past.”

Dreyfuss, who won his Oscar for the 1977 film ‘The Goodbye Girl,’ joins an already jam-packed season of guest stars, which includes Linda Hamilton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Alanis Morissette and Jennifer Jason Leigh. He was last seen on Showtime in the 2002 docudrama ‘The Day Reagan Was Shot.’

‘Weeds’ season 6 premieres Mon., Aug. 16 at 10PM.
