This is sort of interesting, in that it involves Robert Pattinson and geneology! Sexy! People had to have sex for geneology to exist! Hot!

Ugh.

First thing’s first: Aren’t we all basically related? We’re all step-third cousins twice removed or whatever. But, I’ll write about this because of my addiction to power. Here it is: Robert Pattinson is a distant relative of Vlad the Impaler, 15th century madman, NOT UNLIKE Vigo The Carpathian, and the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Reports The Daily Mail:

Researchers discovered the link through the Royal Family, as the actor is a distant cousin of Princes William and Harry.

It is thought the Princes are linked to Pattinson on their father Prince Charles’s side through the Pickering family who lived in Yorkshire in the early 1500s.

Meanwhile, Vlad the Impaler is a distant uncle to the two Princes.

During his reign of terror, Vlad was estimated to have been responsible for the deaths of between 40,000 to 100,000 by executing his enemies by driving wooden stakes into the bodies and erecting them in public for all to see.

Kewl.
