Certainly, there are stranger gifts Matt Lauer could have given Russell Crowe on ‘Today’ (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC), but we can’t seem to think of any. Lauer presents Crowe with a tiny pair of gold lamé shorts, referencing a past comment of his about outlandish fashion at the Cannes Film Festival.
