Liveblogging Lindsay Lohan Jail Day!

Today is July 20, 2010. For most of us, a regular Tuesday. But for Lindsay Lohan, it’s the official day the sh*t hits the fan, as she will be turning herself over to the court for her 90-day Jail Sentence. The cameras are all set up in front of the Beverly Hills Court where Lindsay is momentarily expected, and as we are nothing if not journalists, we will be liveblogging the events as they unfold.

11:18: So far, no updates. I am eating Cola Mentos to bide the time. I wonder if Lindsay will be able to eat Mentos in jail? That would be pretty fortunate.
11:22: Supposedly Michael Lohan is already in the courtroom. Let us pray he’s wearing his formal meshwear…
11:26: Lindsay’s last tweet, from 14 hours ago: “the only “bookings” that i’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i’d be “booking” into Jail… eeeks” Soooo what she’s saying is that she’s not familiar with any bookings, right?
11:32: Lindsay is running late, but her black Escalade is lurking on the outskirts. The O.J.-copter is hovering above dutifully, capturing the best ep of Law & Order SUV in a while.
11:36: Lindsay now running 6 minutes late. If this were Judge Judy officiating the case, Sheindlin would have rocket shipped to the moon by now out of anger.
11:37: LINDSAY IS HERE!!!! OMG. Someone threw confetti at her! Who the hell let Charles Nelson Reilly in??
11:40: Here is Lindsay going through security with everyone’s favorite local Spanky impersonator:
11:42: Lindsay’s hair is as blond as ever, and her lips are pumped to within an inch of their life. Perhaps the Disney films she alluded to earlier was in the Donald Duck biopic? Genius joke.
11:44: Boo, we won’t be seeing Lindsay Lohan getting hand-cuffed. Guess we’ll just have to wait to see it back in the 900 movies it’s probably happened in, albeit sexually.
11:46: Sh*t. They turned the cameras off!! Lindsay is remanded into custody. She’s going to jail!!
11:49: Lindsay’s getting her SCRAM bracelet off. So that’s good.
11:51: How is Dina handling all this?

12:05: Michael Lohan has held a press conference where he stated that he is devastated and supportive.
Thankfully, it looks like someone was there handing out “Free Lines of Coke” for all parties interested.
