Whelp. I’ve reached my second hand embarrassment quota for the day in SPADES. I have enough left over for tomorrow. Just that tiny break in his voice did it for me. However, silver lining, good to know that this display will never happen again as it is clearly the worst luck ever to have John Travolta sing to you before a soccer match. As we all know, Australia lost to Germany, 4 to NIL. That’s NOTHING. ZERO. And four goals is a LOT in soccer. It’s just shy of embarrassing. It’s sort of embarrassing. No, it’s embarrassing. So, lesson learned, if John Travolta ever offers to serenade you with a song from Grease, or really anything at all, politely decline, slowly back away and then break into a full sprint. You’ll thank yourself later.
