Jason Bateman iPhone Incident: Still A Thing, Apparently

Thought that story about Jason Bateman cutting in the iPhone line last Thursday was over? Au contraire, it is JUST GETTING HEATED UP, you naive bastard:

Us Weekly is ALL OVER the Exclusive scoop of witnesses responding to Jason Bateman’s tweet responding to the witnesses responding to him cutting in line:

Deny it all you want, Jason Bateman.

After two sources confirmed to UsMagazine.com the actor, 41, outraged more than 2,000 people by cutting in line for an iPhone 4 last week, he wrote on Twitter, “There wasn’t one boo. Not one hiss. The Apple guy brought me in away from the paparazzi. Period. I was content in line. I wish I’d stayed.”

But more eyewitnesses have come forward to back up Us’ report that he was escorted by employees into the store…

“It was so much drama! It was the most surreal experience. People were so pissed because that line was ridiculous,” adds Angela Mayhew, who was one of the first people in line who arrived at 3:30 A.M.

Take THAT, Bateman! People said they booed him then Jason Bateman Tweeted that no one booed him but now Us Weekly has re-opened that cold case and found that people DID IN FACT BOO HIM!!! Cue “Running On Empty” and roll the Cold Case “everything’s wrapped up” montage.

Actually, let’s spend another couple weeks making sure we get to the bottom of this iPhone story — if we don’t, this could set a really dangerous precedent where celebrities are given special treatment for things.
