Halle Berry is about to join a hallowed group that includes Mel Gibson, Kim Basinger and Michael Moore: Oscar-Winning guest stars on ‘The Simpsons.’

Executive producer Al Jean recently confirmed an episode airing in early 2011 will feature the ‘Monster’s Ball’ actress presenting at the Academy Awards. Bart and Homer are there as nominees for their animated short based on Bart’s cartoon web series ‘Angry Dad.’

“It’s a bit of a satire of the different Oscar acceptances where two people clearly race to the stage to get there first,” says Jean. “Homer and Bart are fighting to be the one that accepts.”
