Fox to Launch American Country Awards
Fox is proving it’s a little bit country with its latest awards show.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox will launch the American Country Awards with a two-hour telecast on Dec. 6.
It’s no secret that American audiences love country music. CBS has the Academy of Country Music Awards, ABC is home to the Country Music Awards and the ‘CMA Music Festival,’ an annual three-hour block of country music, and CMT — that’s Country Music Television, a whole channel for country music — has the Country Music Television Awards.
