‘Chuck’ Fans Plan Buy More-Themed Flash Mobs
“‘Chuck’ fans are the most loyal, dedicated, imaginative and passionate fans any show could ever hope for,” says series co-creator Josh Schwartz.
It turns out he wasn’t kidding.
To show their support for the NBC show, which is currently “on the bubble,” fans will stage flash mobs in four cities this Monday, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
If you live in Chicago, Seattle, San Diego and Philadelphia, expect to see hordes of people dressed like Buy More employees, either in a green polo shirt and khakis or short-sleeved white dress shirt, tie and black pants.

Betty White Gets New ‘SNL’ Promos, GSN Marathon (VIDEO)
As the date for Betty White’s hosting gig on ‘Saturday Night Live’ comes ever closer (May 8th), NBC is releasing more promos featuring the grande dame of television.
In the first promo, similar to one mentioned here earlier this week, Betty addresses rumors that have her dating Zac Efron. Apparently, as the camera pans around the room, those rumors are totally false. In the second promo, Ms. White wonders if her ‘SNL’ gig will lead to bigger and better hosting duties for, perhaps, the Academy Awards. To that end, she enlists a trio of computer nerds to fan the Internet rumor flames.

‘Sex and the City’ Producer Heading Back to TV
Not even the big screen success of the ‘Sex and the City’ movie (which grossed more than $400 million, worldwide) could keep ‘SATC’ series producer Michael Patrick King away from television
Deadline reports that King is about to finalize a multi-year “mega deal” with Warner Bros. Television that will have him creating his own TV production company at WBTV. The report says he’ll help foster a group of writers and develop a slate of new TV series.

‘FlashForward’ – ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ Recap

(S01E18) Dyson Frost is a bad man. He’s been doing stuff related to the flashforwards for years now. The whole situation is far more complicated than we ever imagined, and yet almost everyone we’ve met who’s a part of whatever was behind the global incident seems to be a reluctant participant.
Certainly Gabriel (James Callis) was reluctant to be as involved as he was. It’s not clear what his mental state was before the blackout, though we know he’s a savant and was already hospitalized, but he’s agitated, nervous and very frustrated right now. Perhaps that comes from knowing too much.

Google to Introduce Android-Based TV Software
In another step towards competing with the ubiquitous iPhone and other smartphone operating systems, Google will be introducing television-based software in May that will run Google Android. The software is said to open up television, set-top boxes and devices to more content from the Internet.
Google is essentially trying to develop a television set operating system. It will be tough to make it work, since many of the television manufacturers will likely be protective of whatever software goes on their hardware. However, it sounds like Sony, Intel and a few other companies are already on board.
This is just another step towards the eventual merger of your home television and computer systems. If Google can succeed in this, Android could become a major player in operating systems, competing with the likes of Microsoft, Apple and Linux.

Five TV Weddings That Didn’t Happen
If you love bridal shows and haven’t checked out ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ yet, now is a perfect opportunity. The reality series returns Friday, April 30, 9PM ET on TLC, and it’s all about the inner workings of Kleinfeld Bridal, a premiere bridal salon whose goal is to make every bride completely happy with her wardrobe for the big day.
In honor of the show’s return, I’ve compiled a few TV weddings that didn’t happen for various reasons. Maybe if the brides had gone to Kleinfeld Bridal, things would have turned out differently … or not.
For top TV weddings that actually did happen, check out Memorable TV Weddings. Jim and Pam, Niles and Daphne, and Luke and Laura made the list.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ – ‘Blood Brothers’ Recap

(S01E20) “You’re back on Bambi blood, and I’m a badass big brother again. All is right in the world.” – Damon to Stefan
A jealous brother, an evil uncle, and a trusting girlfriend all played into this episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ We also got some flashbacks that revealed more of the Salvatore brothers’ backstory and why Damon hates Stefan so much. Although, really, if he hated him that much, he wouldn’t have organized the rescue mission to extract Stefan out of the vampires’ farmhouse lair. Maybe he did it more for Elena than anything else.
And is it just me, or are Damon and Elena getting awfully chummy lately? I’ll answer my own question: yes, they are.

Dream of Having Tea with Mike Tyson Becomes Reality
Every morning I wake up and wonder about the following: If I had to have tea with one person on the tattooed face of the Earth, who would that be?
The answer is and has always been: Mike Tyson.
Today, a breakthrough. Comedian and former college improve partner (We were cool like dat! Kids still say dat, right?) Reese Waters took high tea with Mike Tyson at an ultra-elegant hotel in Manhattan recently for The Daily Line on the Versus Network.
Prepare to be floored by Mike’s unrelenting class and charm. Said with no sarcasm. The honey drizzling alone has us reaching for the nearest corgi with which to accompany us to the Queen’s house.
